She has contributed to several clinical practice guidelines, white papers, and web sites, and is currently working on her first book. Through her publications, she tries to not only educate but to motivate as well.

Dr. Collins is the founder of Nutrition411 (formerly RD411), which offered a vast library of over 3500 pieces of content all written or edited by Dr. Collins.

Dr. Collins typically writes about wound care, nutrition, aging issues, the patient experience, health care teams, medical litigation and how to move the health care system forward. She has served on numerous editorial boards and devotes a portion of her time to mentoring new writers.
